Toughing through Winter

Living in the Pacific Northwest can be tough. The long, wet winters are dark and cold. While there's not much snow, the chilly winds can bite. As spring comes and birds return to Aiston Creek, it's a good time to reflect and take action. This year, Ricky B's will join the island-wide studio tour for the first time. Opening up to the public tests your vulnerability, a theme inspired by a mural he created for the local Grange in 2024. It’s like hitting a roadblock that says “stop,” but something inside urges you to keep going—that’s when the true artist shines, and your best work comes to life. This year, the color yellow will take center stage.
